In a group environment the effect can be even more profound, especially if the process addresses directly real challenges and issues rather than just being a satisfying experience. Such a transformation can be often be seen with personnel involved at the coalface of operations. Yet the potential competitive leverage to be obtained by applying the same approaches at board level, the very fulcrum of value creation, is rarely captured.
