Meet Lena
Lena Sisco is the CEO and Founder of The Congruency Group and Sector Intelligence. She is a former Navy Intelligence Officer and Marine Corps-certified interrogator who served in the Global War on Terror, conducting hundreds of interrogations. She has worked for ONI, NCIS, and DIA. She is the author of "You're Lying: Secrets From an Expert Military Interrogator to Spot the Lies and Get to the Truth," "Honest Answers: Interview and Negotiation Skills to Get the Truth," and "The 13 Power Moves of Dark Psychology: How to Protect Yourself From Abuse and Covertly Influence Anyone." Lena was featured on the HBO Series "Burden of Proof," and "Killer Performance" is now airing on Reelz and Peacock. She is a body language expert for Newsmax, FoxLiveNow, Court TV, and other news outlets. A former TEDx speaker, she keynotes around the world and is a speaker and expert panelist for both SPYEX and the SPY Museum in Washington, D.C. Since 2003, Lena has been training the Department of Defense, government agencies, law enforcement, special forces, and private sector industries in interviewing and interrogation, statement analysis, body language, detecting deception, elicitation, and change leadership. ​Lena is also certified in Organizational Change Management and received her certificate in the Psychology of Leadership from Cornell University. She has a Master's degree from Brown University in Archaeology and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Rhode Island.
Meet Eli
Colonel, United States Marine Corps (Ret.) Elieser R. Smith is a senior intelligence and security executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience across global operations, strategic planning, and multinational environments. He brings a strong blend of operational, analytical, and executive expertise developed through extensive service in joint, interagency, and international roles.
Throughout his career, Colonel Smith has led intelligence and security organizations responsible for risk assessment, counter-threat operations, and crisis response in high-risk environments worldwide, including the Middle East, Europe, Central Asia, Latin America, and the United States. He has held executive leadership roles overseeing large, globally dispersed teams and has directed multinational intelligence operations, advised senior decision-makers, and coordinated real-time crisis response efforts.
He has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and two master’s degrees in Leadership and National Strategy, with over 30 years of managerial experience in Military Intelligence, Counterintelligence, Human Intelligence, Operations, and Strategic Planning. He has held the United States Marine Corps Counterintelligence/Human Intelligence (CI/HUMINT) Military Occupational Specialty since 1993. He has performed/conducted and directed CI/HUMINT operations in the Central, Pacific, European, and Africa Command area of operations while leading and participating in combat operations and joint military exercises for conventional and special operation forces.
