I used elicitation to collect high-value intelligence information when I was deployed during the Global War on Terror - so I know they work. I also use them to network more effectively, build rewarding relationships, grow my clients and my business, and find out sensitive information without asking for it.

You will learn why elicitation works on almost everyone, who ​makes an effective elicitor, and who can benefit from elicitation, the factors that can help prepare you for success, and the "Easy 8" techniques. I call them easy because they are easy to use and highly effective.

Years ago, I realized how easy it was to get what I wanted if I said the right thing. I couldn't just wing it, though; I had to play out the conversation in my head before it actually took place. I thought of the possible resistance from the other person and how I could deflect it. I also thought about the why; why would my negotiation partner bend to my desires? What's in it for them? And I was never pushy or aggressive because I learned that it made the other person defensive or unwilling to negotiate. I also learned that trust is a crucial factor in negotiating.

You cannot successfully negotiate if you cannot rely on the other person to trust you. Of course, the same goes for you; you must be trustworthy.  

You will learn how to use my BOND principled negotiation tactics and how to assess your opponent’s stance - what they want, and what drives their behavior. I created an assessment profile for you to use on your Negotiation Partner that you can use to increase the success of your negotiation. 

In this section, I will retrain your brain to ask good questions while sounding respectful and empathetic to maintain your level of rapport. This fundamental skill will give you the courage and confidence you need to collect pertinent, truthful information.

These skills will significantly help you in an interview, no matter which side of the table you are on. You will know what to ask and how to ask it to fully uncover the truth. You will even learn techniques that no one teaches (because I created them) on exposing lies and then, once you do, know what to do and say to persuade a liar to be honest.
